Depth Medicine

Parasympathetic Reset Therapy.

Also known as: neuroplasticity reset, depth immersion therapy, limbic restoration

A clinically supervised therapeutic experience that quiets the brain's stress-response circuitry, opens a window of profound neuroplasticity, and allows deep psychological healing to occur in a way conventional approaches cannot always reach.

Overview

What is it?

Parasympathetic Reset Therapy uses a carefully titrated agent to temporarily shift the brain out of entrenched stress and fear-based patterns. Unlike antidepressants that take weeks, therapeutic effects can be felt rapidly — and the window it opens allows psychological processing that would otherwise be blocked by chronic hyperarousal or emotional avoidance.

Mechanism

How does it work?

The agent works through NMDA receptor antagonism, triggering a rapid release of BDNF — the brain's growth hormone — and creating a significant window of neuroplasticity. It also reduces activity in the default mode network, interrupting rumination and rigid thought patterns, while promoting synaptic growth in key limbic structures.

What to expect

The experience.

Sessions take place in a calm, carefully prepared clinical environment with music, eye shades, and continuous clinician presence. You may experience a dreamlike or floating quality, shifts in perception of time and space, and emotional release. Most people feel lighter, softer, and more open in the hours and days that follow.

The Process

A carefully held pathway.

01

Intake & Assessment

Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medical history, safety screening, and intention-setting to personalise your protocol.

02

Preparation Session

One or more appointments to build therapeutic rapport, set intentions, and prepare psychologically for the experience.

03

Therapeutic Session

The medicine session itself, held in a private suite with your clinician present throughout — typically 45 minutes to 3 hours.

04

Integration

Dedicated integration therapy to process insights, embed changes, and consolidate the neuroplastic window into lasting transformation.
